At the starting point there is a rest area equipped with picnic tables, a public water dispenser, a wooden house serving as an information point and a meeting room - called the Geosite's house - and a parking.

From this place you can enjoy a splendid view of the Menaggio Valley and the Tremezzo Mountains and there is also a free WiFi connection for visitors.
